Spanish Swords

History did not find any detailed information about Spanish swords; when does it start and how it was proceed but it is known that the industry of sword manufacturers is as older as this Spanish city named Toledo.

Toledo city is very popular because of its art and crafting and has much fame in the industry of weaponry tools. Originally carving silica was used to make useful tools or weapons.

First Spain is invaded by Moors in 1050, and later by 1300 Iberian Peninsula was occupied by Spain. Many battles and skirmishes were fought for this possession. The fine Spanish swords had valued advantage and illegal for public use after the conquest.

Whereas Infantries or foot soldiers also made use of different weapons; Harquebus was invented in the 15th century was also used by Spanish soldiers and similar to musket, it was difficult to use because heavy to load and complicated while fire but much effective. It also used against native soldiers who felt terror.

Crossbow was a European weapon similar to harquebus, also used against the light armors, quick natives. This crossbow was very slow to load and not very common terribly. This was specifically designed to defeat armored knights.

Foot soldiers also took benefit of Toledo blade to cut off their enemy in minutes and also made good use of swords like the cavalries.
